Not much of a rumor roundup
I do not see where anyone from the most recent group of referrals is reporting TA yet.
An agency is reporting they have a package arriving today, and they think they are receiving some SN paperwork for their families in this package. So, maybe we’ll hear some good news from some families in the SN program later today.
I see where several agencies are telling their families they “hope” or “expect” to hear something about matching or referrals soon, but I don’t see anything that looks like the agencies have heard anything specific, just that it’s time and it would ordinarily be expected soon(ish).
Sorry I don’t have more. I know we’re really close to that one month mark and that some of you who are “on deck” are holding on by a pretty thin thread right now.

large agency reporting that ccaa is preparing to work on the next set of matches. (sometimes, referrals arrive within days of this announcement; at other times, it takes weeks….)
same agency also talking about how new ccaa director is stressing the importance of international adoption, and saying domestic shouldn’t get preference. agency is not sure how/if that will translate into action, but it’s a hopeful sign. and we can all use a few of those.

RQ – OT comment, nothing to do with rumors. Not sure if something has changed on the site today but I am unable to open it with Internet Explorer 9 – comes up with an error message after the China adopt talk banner loads (other sites are loading correctly so I think it might be something site specific). I was able to get here using Firefox.

CNY starts in 16 days. they usually like to clear their desks before they leave, right? at this point i can’t imagine they would send two batches before CNY so it’s possible they won’t be sending referrals until the week after next. i’m sooooo hoping that’s not true because i know the early april families must be dying.

tearoses1 – for IA to be prioritize over domestic it would be going against the hague.
i saw what this agency said and i think you are misinterpreting it. unless we’re talking about different agencies…
it said tht UNOFFICIAL domestic adoption needs to be stopped (needs to be made official) and IA needs to be improved (it did not say increased or prioritized).

Noendinsight – I have been thinking the same thing as you in regards to CNY…that may be why there haven’t been any rumors. As much as I would love for this not to be true I am preparing myself for that fact with a LID of 4/4/06.

noendinsight – it does say that unofficial domestic adoption needs to end, but it also quotes director as saying that there is no need for domestic to be the be-all and end all, and if there are loving families waiting for children who need them, the ccaa should do everything to get them there.
i’d quote directly, but i believe that’s forbidden!

I had all kinds of trouble getting this site to come up today also. I kept getting messages that explorer could not open it. I had to run a system cleaner and now it worlks fine, weird. I have never had that happen.

Rumor Queen, I just wanted to let you know that a lady on Facebook said that her agency told her that China is getting ready to match. I don’t exactly what that means or how long it is between matching and receiving referrals, but that’s what her agency told her. With a LID of 04/05/06 I’m on pins and needles!

RQ, I read on the CCAA website something about a orphanage, in the eastern district of Beijing,Pinggu. just wondering if you know anything about this orpanage?is it a “new” institution? wil it be doing IA ,domestic or both?just a thought!

My sister just called me – she said her agency contacted her and that she will be getting her picture by next week!!!! her LID is 04/04/06….YEAHHHHHHH I can’t wait to meet my niece!

Noendinsight: IA needs to be improved ?
I take it either way improved is good. Speed up will be better. But either way sounds not too bad.
