R5 – April 5th

R5

We’ve got seven agencies confirming the cut off date as April 5th. I believe that calls for an R5.

Congrats to those families included in this batch!!!

If you expect to be in this referral batch and you’d like to share your blog with us, please include blog name and blog URL in the comments to this post. Also, if you are in another program and would like to share your news, please share your blog URL and blog name in the comments.

I do not see any agencies saying when they expect referrals to arrive.

  5. Dragon Fly Says:

I know everyday marked off is one day closer with a
6-2-06 LID, but I am about in tears with just a two day batch.

But I am very happy for all those who are getting thier day to celebrate.

  6. Suezq2 Says:

What wonderful news! We are LID 04/05/06! I too had a dream last night that we are on the Great Wall. Our blog is “Our Journey for Jade” http://jandsburtz7.blogspot.com/

  7. RumorQueen Says:

Based on the numbers from last month’s batch, there was a fear that this could be a one day batch. So, yeah, people are pretty happy that 1) referrals aren’t going to be six or seven weeks between this time, and 2) it wasn’t a one day batch.

As someone said on the previous thread – the real litmus test will be next month – are they now just going to do two or three or maybe four days every time? Or are they doing as many referrals as they can? Next month will give us a better idea of that. If they do about the same number then they could easily make it to the 11th next month. But, if they are being told to hold it to a small number of days referred then… right.

I have a friend who will get a referral in this batch – so yippee!!! Congrats to all who will see their child’s face soon.

I also think its good they got a batch out before CNY. I was starting to wonder if they would.

  12. mom23boys Says:

With those numbers- I’ll take it- as it is more than the feared one day batch. Congrats to all those that are going to get their referral!!!

    5/06

  13. kms Says:

    Another 2 day batch..

Great some families are about to be formed. Just a little weird getting excited over a 2 day batch, again.

  14. Desperately Seeking Baby Says:

Congrats to all who have come to the end of a very long journey.

As for the rest of us still waiting another…. two day match are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is beyond rediculous!!!!!!!! I am so glad that we decided to let our paperwork expire. At this rate with a LID of August 2006 I would be retired by the time this adoption would be completed. Shame on CCAA for another small batch, so much for the expected speed up.

  15. Noendinsight Says:

Desperately Seeking Baby – RELATIVELY speaking, they are two big days. they are two of the four biggest days in april. so while two days stinks, it could have easily been one and at least it’s two big days. last month they did three days, which sounds better, but it was half the number of referrals based on RQ polls.

IF they so the same number of referrals next month they would do six days…

  16. zhaonuer Says:

Someone posted on the forum that referrals have arrived in their country. Can anyone confirm??!

  17. edfknoxadopt Says:

We received our referral back on May 26, 2009 and should be traveling within the next 60 days our blog is…http://ladybugsmom-journeytoladybug.blogspot.com/

  18. ziegsma Says:

Happy and Sad. Only 2 days.

    congrats to the families referred

a big hug to those still waiting….

  20. StillwaitinginWI Says:

    EDFKNOXADOPT
I am confused as to why you haven’t traveled to China yet. If you received your referral back in May, that was about 8 months ago.
Maybe I am missing something. I sure hope you are not still waiting to go, that is a long wait time.

  21. JustWait Says:

Great news for the tiny number of families with referrals, but one more terrifying number for the huge numbers of people further back in line. We’re on the bubble with a May 2006 LID. By “on the bubble,” I mean that we’re on the dividing line between whether it makes sense to continue waiting or whether it makes more sense to pursue other options or just move on. People with LID’s any later have an even harsher reality to deal with.

  22. Mollysomeday Says:

Congrats to those receiving referrals!!!! You must be feeling indescribable joy right now.

JustWait, I am with you, “on the bubble”, and our LID is not until June 2007. We’ve pretty much decided to let this go, and I have the email ready to send to our agency to officially remove us from line, but… I can’t get myself to send it just yet. I think at this point it’s only a matter of time before I have to send it.

  23. Dreaming of Cassie Says:

Hoping it’s based on numbers and that next month we’ll see a greater number of days matched!

(((Hugs))) to all my fellow waiters.

And to all still waiting, hang in there.
