I’m not seeing any announcements from anyone that they were matched. I had planned to do a When post for the next list today, but if the one that was supposed to come out last night did not, then that would be jumping the gun.

I have followed RQ’s site since 2005 but I have never posted…can’t describe what this web site has meant to our family. Anyway, I need to ask her some questions that includes agency names but I’m not sure how to PM her. Could someone please help me out? I have registered in the forum also but do not see where to send her the PM. Thanks in advice for you help!!

This site is a little too quiet today-
I have not seen anyone reporting a new list or matching from my agency, but sounds like some were matched as previously commented?
Anxiously awaiting to hear some good news!!

Apparently it was a very small list. Once before a very small list came out and there was debate over whether to “count” it as a list.
Ya’ll tell me what you want me to do. I’ll do another When post if you want, or if you want to wait and see if they add more tonight before counting last night’s as part of a series that comes out on multiple nights, I can do that, too.

As of this morning, there were still over 100 new files for children on the SN list…that is after whatever matching was done last night.
How many children are there usually on a new SN list?
February 8th, 2010 at 8:11 pm
There was definitely a new list released as promised by the CC@@ announcement. The SNeeds were more moderate to severe in the new kids though. Not very many minor correctible SN that everyone snatches up quickly.

I received the best call I could have imagined this morning. My agency put on hold my daughter! (that feels so good to say!) She is a year old as of this month and she has bilateral cleft lip and palate. I have submitted her file to the IAC in Cincinnati and expect to talk with them tomorrow but also talked with our regular doctor, who has adopted 3 little ones from China personally, said other than being borderline anemic that everything looks on target.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the next steps!

My friends received a referral match last night (Sunday) around 9:30pm EST from her agency. They were requesting a girl ,3-6 years old and were willing to take some pretty significant special needs. Their new daughter will turn 4 soon and her only special need is a lazy eye! They already had an international adoption doctor review the report and they sen!t out her acceptance letter today! And she is just adorable!

This was our first month on the list and WE WERE MATCHED!! He is 27 months old and living in Baoding City. He has a problem with his left knee and is unable to bend it. We have forwarded his medical file over to the International Adoption Medical team at Children’s Hospital for review. We are so excited! After waiting over 4 years since first deciding to adopt, it now feels like it is going too fast. He is precious and I can’t wait to bring him home!!
