When: Waiting Child Shared List
It looks like we need to count the list that came out Sunday night. It wasn’t as large as some, but I’m hearing that it was definitely large enough to count.

Looking at the numbers: The shortest time frame is 20 days (the time just waited), the longest is 49. The average is 34, the median is 34, and we see 34 and 41 two times.
This means the soonest we would expect to see the next list (or series of lists) would be Monday, March 1, the latest we would expect to see the next list would be Monday, March 29. The most likely day (based on the averages) for matches to be announced from the next shared list would be Monday, March 15.
CNY is coming up, and my guess is that we aren’t going to see another 20 day interval. We now know that, this year at least, they put a list out several days before they left for their holiday. They had to make it a very short interval to do it, and it’s a bit smaller than most lists. That tells me they were likely trying to clear their desks before the holiday. That’s information we can use next year, to see if it’s a trend.
Congrats to all who found their child on this list, or who were matched to a child on this list by their agency.

Could you tell me how large the shared list usually is when it is released? You said this list was small – how many? Is there a normal size range? Thanks!!
