If I could have help with that last category, please. I’ve disabled all of my computers from automatically playing (most) music on websites. It seems to be impossible to disable all types of music. But, since I think I’ve finally got most of it disabled, it’s hard for me to know if a site plays music. I know that many people want to check the blogs from work, and I’d like to be able to keep it safe for them to do so.

WOW, I can’t believe it! What do you make of this RQ? There are people on the Forum who’s LID’s are up the the 9th who have been matched. Any news on cutoff? So we did get Feb. referrals after all.
So many questions….So happy though!

We received our referral yesterday.
Surprise, Surprise – we have an infant….SON born June 5, 2010. For those wondering, yes, we had female on our paperwork.
I remember several months ago there were several families on RQ who were matched with infant males. I had always wondered if they had specified a sex or not.
Going to have to do lots of shopping (and will need to try to sell some stuff). We have not one boy item.
Happy for all the families who received their referrals.

I think a lot of people may be surprised by this batch and perhaps some agencies weren’t prepared for it. My agency receive more referrals this round than last.

I’m expecting a referral in this batch :) Happy Dance!! Don’t know how I’m going to get through the day until that call comes in…how long do they make you wait???

I think there are about NINE announcements in the June Room. We’re waiting on one more. There were maybe one or two more here on the main Blog as well. And, there are a few announcements here in the comments that have not yet made it to the Babies’ post. But, too, I remember a time when there were LOTs of Babies on this page. Times sure have changed.

Anyone have any thoughts on why we have so few postings of placements in this thread? Last referral had 14 families and this one only has 4.
We’re overly thrilled that we were in this batch but just a little curious as to the reduced number of families sharing in the joy.

lachchinababy, we had a LID in June 2006, so I’ve been following the referral announcements in the June 2006 room. There are several families who have announced referrals there who have not posted here yet. There are also some families who are still waiting to hear from their agencies. Very exciting times for the June families! So excited for everyone :)

ok, where’s the intel/theorizing/WAGing on what’s happening here?

a pile of misplaced paperwork found on their desks — and it was referrals?
i don’t quite recall something like this happening before, but i’ve only been at this for 8 years or so…. i don’t recall my agency being so blindsided. i’m sure it’s happened, but if someone could provide context, it would sure be great to hear!
