Organizing Paperwork, and RK’s Juicing Adventure

A U.S. agency reported yesterday that the CCCWA is beginning to organize paperwork. That means they aren’t matching yet, but they aren’t far from it.

RK finished his juicing adventure one day early, so he did it for fourteen days instead of 15 days. He lost 16 pounds in fourteen days. He’s still doing the breakfast recipes for breakfast, and he’s eating mostly salads and/or veggie dishes for dinner. He’s eating out with his coworkers again for lunch, but says he’s trying to make healthier choices than he was. He feels so much better than he did, and that’s his main reason for sticking with the whole healthy eating plan.  (If you have no idea what I’m talking about, here is the latest recap). He’s lost another pound since he stopped on Monday, for a grand total of seventeen pounds. I think he’s considering doing the reboot recipes on the weekends, so it will basically be a small reboot every weekend. As I said before, keeping up with the juicing thing to take it to work every day isn’t sustainable in the long term for him.  It was fine for a short term thing, but long term he’s going to have to come up with something else.

You must be proud of him. In all seriousness though it pis*es me off that guys can virtually cut out soda once a day for a week and drop ten pounds. That is simply not right. Seriously though, good for him. I am guessing that you and the girls want him around a LONG time. This will make that happen!!!

RK along with someone I met on a business trip last week inspired me to start juicing. I reviewed jointhereboot, and found a lot of channels on YouTube that followed people’s juicing stories. I started on Saturday and have lost 6 pounds. I drink about 5 glasses of juice a day and supplement that with a lot of water. During the work week I’ve settled into a rhythm of making a glass in the morning. Then I juice to fill 3 Bell Jars and take them to work. I drink one about every three hours and supplement with a lot of water. When I get home, I make one last glass for dinner. I figure I am drinking about 60-70 oz a day of juice and about the same of water. I don’t know if RK had this side effect, but I’ve found that I’ve been sleeping really well. Please thank RK for inspiring me.

My juicer arrived last night. I made 3 different types of juice today. Two were great, one was just okay, although DH liked it. It’s funny how full I feel after drinking juice. I’m really not hungry like I would be if I ate my normal junk.

I rented the dvd from the library and hope to watch it tomorrow.

So far I’m loving the juicer. I got the Breville 850 fountain juicer. Free shipping from Amazon and it only took a few days to arrive.
