I don’t see reports of phone calls being made overseas yet. But if they were actually mailed when the agencies said they were, then we should see phone calls today.

Us!!
We accepted a referral from the Waiting Child program after being logged in since June 2009 and submitting a medical needs checklist in September 2011. She is 12 months old and has unrepaired unilateral cleft lip and palate. We are thrilled, excited, scared to death, and anxious to get her home. Things are moving pretty quickly so far (LOA came 12 days after PA).

The adoption agency we used for both our China Adoptions announced on facebook that they made referral calls to families today! Can’t wait to see all the posts and pictures! Congrats to everyone.

We are waiting for our LOA on our little special needs girl we accepted at the end of December. Told to expect 3-4 months but may be sooner.

Is it time to revise the projections schedule? The worst case scenerio for Jan/Feb was Aug 24th.

If you read the latest projections then I clearly said “If I were to do a projection based on the numbers from the past five months then I’d have to say the cut off will be in the vicinity of August 14th or 15th. If that’s where things turn out then I’ll be creating a new column next month.” I even bolded it, to be sure it was seen.
And then a few days ago, I said, “If it is the 15th or the 18th then I’ll need to make another column. My latest projection post was for the 24th, but I said that if I were to do it based on recent numbers then it would be the 14th or 15th, and if that turned out to be the case then it was time for a new column.”
