I’ll be doing an analysis of days per month vs LIDs per month, to see if we can get a better idea of how the CCCWA may be making their decisions of a cut-off date these days.
The comment spam is getting worse and worse. It took me almost ten minutes to go through the pending queue this morning and delete it all — there were hundreds of them. I’m not one to wish bad things on people, but I’ve got some pretty creative things I’d like to see happen to the spammers. I am thankful I’ve found a good filter though, so none of it actually gets published.

RQ, thanks for looking at the number of days vs. LIDs, if nothing else, it will give those of us waiting yet another data point to ponder. For those of us with mid to late September LIDs, we’re going to hit the 6 year mark (unbelievable). I’ve been thinking a lot of about those behind us. It will be interesting to see who’s still waiting with LIDs in October 2006 and beyond.

Congrats to all those who are receiving their referrals today or this week!
I’m one of the ones who is just happy to see that they referred another 6 days. With a mid Nov 06 LID we’re still here & waiting although we’re also taking steps with domestic. Honestly, we’re prepared for a 7 year wait with 90 LID days ahead of us. It`s incredibly sad that the wait has gone on so long however we`ve accepted it at this point. My heart goes out to all of us who are still waiting. It`s the hardest thing I`ve ever done.

We too are a family that counts days. And with 6 days done, we are a bit closer to ours.11-23-07.

I am waiting with you guys. I do hope that things get a bit faster once they get through with Sept. We are the last big month for a while. I agree, this wait is really hard. I have spent more time waiting for this referral than I spent getting through high school. It’s amazing when you think of time in life experience.
