It looks like phone calls started Friday. I’ve had a combination of power outages and just not being at home; I’ve kept up with things from my cellphone, but couldn’t make posts. Frustrating.

I was matched a few months ago but still check my agencies site. They said they would have everything translated and families call by last night.

I know there are a couple of people who reported getting the calls yesterday (from the FB group) but I am still waiting. Oct 11 LID. Yesterday was a tough one as time ticked on and still nothing – Can’t believe it stretched out to New Years so I’m really hoping tomorrow is the day!!

MusicMom, I hope you get the call soon!!! I was in the same boat, everyone else was getting the call and celebrating on a Friday and I didn’t receive the news till the next Monday! Pure torture it is!! Best wishes…

I hope this is a sign for us that 2013 will be a great year for us. We got the call on NY’s Eve that we were matched. A darling little 2 year old girl. Agency is translating the paperwork today and we will hopefully learn more later today or tomorrow!

Hello,
Today we got the call!!!! We’re from Holland and we where called with the announcement that our document are received by our agency and also today send out to the translator. She could only say it’s a girl almost 2 years old. Our LID is October 11th. We hope to get the rest of the info + photo next week.

We got the call last week!!!! We’re from Holland and we where called with the announcement that it’s a girl nearly 2 years old. The documents are out to the translator. We hope to get the rest of the info + photo this week.

Congratulations onze2eadoptieuitchina!!!! I had a quick look at your blogs..we live in New Zealand but are both Dutch.My hubby comes from Utrecht. Can I say …Christmas looked very gezellig by you which is what we miss here. But congratulations on your new baby girl!!!!

She is so cute, and so is your older daughter. She will love her little sis. We picked up baby number 2 last January with our 8 year old and they just adore each other!
My husband’s and my parents are all from The Netherlands…he will probably be able to read some of your blog.
