8 month old girl with cleft palate shows up on the list. Under the old rules, she would have been more likely to be adopted by someone not yet logged in, which would mean she could easily stay in the orphanage another year, and be 20 months, almost [...]

The CCAA has put out new guidelines for the special needs list, and (as usual) different agencies seem to be interpreting them differently.
Best I can tell:

Agency specific lists are gone. Except for a few exceptions where agencies are part of what was a pilot program, the only way to adopt special needs children is now [...]

Several agencies have listed for their families some extra guidelines that the CCAA has issued to them, involving the shared list.
In a nutshell, the guidelines say:

Each agency has one USB key that allows them to log in. The CCAA wants it to be used by the “principal” of the agency (whether it be government agency [...]

I’m not seeing any announcements from anyone that they were matched. I had planned to do a When post for the next list today, but if the one that was supposed to come out last night did not, then that would be jumping the gun.

The New Shared list is supposed to come out on the 8th – that will be Sunday night for us Americans.
Just looking at my latest When post for the SN shared list, I think this comes out three days sooner than the earliest (for the past year).

The rumor is that the next list will be released on the 19th.
I’m guessing that’s the 19th in China, which would be the night of the 18th here in the U.S., which would be Monday night.
