Hi. I’m new to this Blog. I want to thank you for caring enough about all of us to get some information out. Why is it that some agencies get direct CCAA comments like the next referrals being July 15, and yet my agency just keeps telling me “she wished she had a crystal ball” I tell ya I don’t want to hear that again so I turned on China Adopt Talk and am getting better info, for free! Thank You!!!

Sheila, it’s been a while since I posted this, so I’ll bring it up again since it explains why some agencies have information and others don’t.

rq,
have you heard anymore about being denied due to weight?
on a yahoo group someone was denied with a july14/05 lid for her weight. what a tragic thing. Just curious to hear if you have heard any more about this. We should rally around this young lady and help her.

CCAA have changed their website – referrals to 28th June!!!!!

Rumor Queen,
In the August issue of Adoption TODAY ther will be an article regarding the longer referral times in China. The article will not be a reprint of China Research blog currently posted. The article will be written by our editorial staff and will not reflect negatively on China adoption.
In my opinion, China has the best intercountry adoption program available today. The longer wait times may create some difficulties and added expense for adoptive parents due to the required updates in expired paperwork but that is a problem that needs to be addressed through our U.S. Government.
China’s intercountry adoption program should be viewed as a success and a proper model for other countries participating in intercountry adoption.

I was thinking how fortunate you are RQ to be able to stay online constantly and keep us updated while being a mom! How do you do it?!?! I can barely read a one line email and replay in my house?!?! : ) Do you ever eat and rest?

Hi to all! First time poster. Been on the site for many months.
I just received an update from our agency stating that they have spoke with their staff in China and they too said no new changes. That if they did hear of any new changes they would pass on the info as soon as they get it. Medium size agency. Keep your chinsup! Something has got to go our way for a change. LID 2-17-06

The site is running very slow from page to page. Is it the site or my compute?. About 3-5 min. each time I go to another page.

allaboutava-it’s working okay for me. I was having trouble on the forum last week, kept restarting my explorer but seems to be working okay now.

I can’t seem to get to an LID room. I did get to the registration box a few minutes ago (don’t know how) and it kept saying I was an unregistered user name. What am I doing wrong?

Dear RQ,
first time post, and already have to apologize. I checked our LID and it is 9/29 and not 9/30. I polled as 9/30. It probably doesn’t make much difference, just one more drop in the sea of 9/29 LIDs.
Thank you for everything you’re doing.

Hi RQ,
I am new to this site. Does any one have a detailed list of what documents we will need to take to China. We have a LID of 8/23/05 and hope to receive a referral soon.
I just want to check what our agency tells us compared to someone else. This site has been very helpful. If any one has already gone to china, please let us know what paper work you took.
Thank you in advance.

I belong to our local FCC group and we received an email pertaining to the Paula Zahn/CNN show from the president of FCCNY. I’d like to forward that to you, but not sure how!
