I asked TwinkleToes if she wanted to sit on the potty. She signed that no, she did not. I asked her if she was sure, she gave me a look that said “did you not just see me tell you that I do not?”. Well, okay then.

About an hour later I saw her looking at it. I asked her again. She started tugging at her pants. So, I took her pants and diaper off and sat her on the potty. And then we played with a big squeaky toy and did fun mouth exercises while she sat on the potty. She’d stand up and put the toy on my head and then sit back down while laughing at how funny she is. And I’d nod my head so it fell on her, and she’d laugh and we’d do more mouth contortions and then laugh some more and then she’d stand back up and put the toy on my head and sit back down and we’d do it all again.

And while we were doing that, she suddenly stopped laughing and did a great big Number Two in the potty!!!!!!!

There has been lots of celebrating in our house tonight!
