What do these things have in common? Both have caused me a good bit of humorous embarrassment in public.
When GlitterGirl was learning to talk, fork did not come out as fork. It came out as the eff word. Not that it sounded like the eff word, it was exactly like the eff word.

TwinkleToes is counting. I have no idea when she learned her numbers, but she’s now got the verbal skills to get close enough to the numbers that I know she can count to five.

For those of you who have kiddos who put their blanket in their mouth - how do you keep them clean?
Oh, how I wish I’d known TwinkleToes was going to choose this blanket this way. I’d have bought 20 identical blankets if I had known.

TwinkleToes has learned how to say “no”.
She’s been signing “no” for a really long time, but apparently the spoken form of the word is just so much more fun to say.
Last night after a whole bunch of “no” answers I said “are you just saying ‘no’ because you think it’s fun?” and she started giggling.

TwinkleToes loved this movie. Pointed and ooh’ed and ah’ed and bounced up and down.

I’m pretty sure that TwinkleToes said she loved me tonight.
She wasn’t going to sleep very easily and I told her to go night-night, then rubbed her face and  whispered “I love you”, and she said “Ah-Oo” and smiled and rubbed my arm.
