- Hearing about GlitterGirl’s day at school.
- The sound of either girl calling me mama or mommy.
- Our “lotion time”. I rub it on them, they rub it on me.
- Watching them play together.
- Cheering their accomplishments.
- Weekend mornings with all five of us in bed (RK, GG, TT, me, and the dog)

Love the whole list!!! Can’t wait till I can say that about the TWO kids.. but luckily I am in no particular hurry - either is China! LOL
I absolutely tear up when I hear “Mommy Luv YOU!!” or When at the end of a TOUGH day I come home and I hear a shout “Mommy HOME!” and then little legs running as hard as they can to beat me to the door… makes all the other stuff SO not important!!!
btw - EFP is STILL using sign in spite of being somthing of a motor mouth and I am continuing to teach… it is great! I am SOOO glad we started it in China and kept it up. Even now she will use it when her words don’t come. It is a great thing for ALL children but especially ours - since English is not their first heard language.

I’ve added a few of my own favorite things
- The look on their face when they finally “get” something.
- When I have to look away because I find something funny, but I don’t want them to know I think it’s funny.
- Hearing my children speak with love about extended family.
- Vacations at the beach - watching the sheer joy of playing in the waves and the sand.
- Enjoying the holidays with the children - decorating, baking and sharing family traditions.
