Thursday morning update
I was hoping to have something concrete today, or at least R4 material, but we’re not there yet.
We’ve got several agencies saying December 27th, and at this point I’m willing to go to an R3 that the 27th is included, and an R2 that the 27th is the cut off.
A couple of agencies have verified that they have something on the way. Some say they will get their package today, others say they will get their package tomorrow. We do not know if these packages are referrals or not.

Best wishes everyone!!
Let those packages be filled with referrals!

Let’s hope we get some solid info today. I am staying positive, but still cautious about the cut-off. Hang in there everyone!

mom2four,
It’s the word you have to type in below you can post to the blog. It’s right below the reply box.

I hope that 27th is the cut off date, so I will keep my fingers crossed. Good luck! I know how hard it is to wait.

I can NOT take a long weekend of not knowing what’s in the air…..Maybe the CCAA will change their private little box and the agency people will know for sure what the cut off date is. Today is quite a letdown after the flurry of yesterday…..

Have most people who got referrals in January gotten TA?
Ironically, my anti-spam word?! Diapers…I was wedging those into corners of a suitcase last night! :)

Don’t worry. Referrals are definately in the air. Not enough, but coming nonetheless.

StrawberryShortcake-
I am so excited for you. Just hearing you talk about packing your suitcase makes my heart jump, for you and for all of us who follow. You’re going to be holding your baby soon!
Don’t worry too much about the diapers. The hotel gift shops have diapers, babyfood, even little scrunchie bands for putting your daughter’s hair up. And the prices are very reasonable.
Enjoy packing!!

I wonder if the internet failure that is being reported to affect the middle east and asia is affecting China and teh CCAA online program too?
January 31st, 2008 at 1:32 pm
But RQ: isn’t there always something else that is sent out first, before referrals? TAs or something? I didn’t think there were ever referrals without that first??
Another thing: I thought CCAA always sent referrals out last day before their New Year? Isn’t this too early then?
Ahh, “mama” is my anti-spam word today, suits me well!

TA’s often do arrive before referrals, but not always. That’s not a hard and fast rule. And even when they do precede referrals, the amount of time between varies greatly.
As for CCAA sending out referrals before CNY, I’m not sure about that one. I seem to recall hearing that was the case, but if they’re sending them now, I certainly won’t complain and ask them to wait! :) But, perhaps that’s why not too many agencies have reported packages on the way yet. Maybe they haven’t all been shipped, and they will come closer to CNY.

Dakotagirl – congrats on getting your referral! I’m excited for you!!

Guys, I am 99 percent sure that TAs arrived earlier this week. Look back a couple of days’ worth of posts.

Look back on the 23rd. RQ talks about TAs still coming in.

I think TAs arrive at different times, not all at once. Our groups TAs arrived weeks ago (we got our referral on Jan. 2nd and we leave for China on Valentine’s Day).
