Is it just wishful thinking or does it seem like whenever they say “matching has begun” that we see the referrals start coming through very soon afterward?

Regarding my previous post about referrals arriving shortly after the first “matching has begun” rumor.
I looked back over the last couple of months and Dec 27 was the first “matching has begun” rumor and they started arriving December 31. Then on January 27 was the first “matching has begun” rumor and they started arriving on the 30th. So maybe that is not a trend but gives me hope that maybe we will see them start arrivng the end of the week.

I’m confused about something. The last matches were through Dec 27, 2005. Were there any LID’s Dec 28th-31st that were still waiting or did the 27th finish out the month?
How exciting for Jan 06 LID’s. You’re finally there. Enjoy every minute.

well with no LID date we find it hard here in NZ! But hopefully they get through to at least the 5th and we think we will be in but if they got through to the 10th we are certain we would be in! So BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH, BIG BATCH so roll on referals! we will take about a week or so after the States before we get ours!

I am hopeful that Friday is the day. For the last six months referrals news usually happens about 5 business days after NSN TAs..it has been less days, but usually around that much time….

My family and I have been waiting 3 years for this day to come! (along with many other expecting families) the referrals couldn’t arrive quicker :)

FIRST POSTING!
I’ve been lurking in the shadows for months now; intermittently tossed into despair only to have my spirits lifted cautiously by a “big†batch like last month. Our LID is 1/5/08 so I can only hope that this posting is the last one before I can rejoice publicly. I fear that we will be back to two day batches and we will be three months away, but I am lifted by the hope of all others in this discussion. I will join in the battle cry not just for me, but for all of us and for the kids – big batch, big batch, big batch!
Rumor Queen - though my wife scoffs at my dedication to your site she also savors the updates. I appreciate what you are doing, especially since our agency has provided us no news and the CCAA is silent. You are my only source of information. Thank you.

I have only discovered your site a couple weeks ago. You are a wealth of information that our agency does not supply. We have been anxiously awaiting our precious arrival for 2 1/2 years. I am hoping for a huge batch of referrals this round! Our LID is 1/4/06. I can hardly wait any longer!! I have been singing the Match Maker song all afternoon, thank you, Beth.
