I am so very happy that CCAA is moving things along, no matter how slowly, because they are STILL matching and families are STILL being made- forever families!
Congratulations to everyone!!

babyelaine, she’s gorgeous! May yours be the 1st report of many more to come!
Isn’t it strange how CCAA changed the ‘box’ before referrals started to arrive? It seems they’re streamlining their system. Wonder if it’s a one off? Any change for the better is most welcome though.
Congrats to all who are ‘expecting’ in teh enxt few days!

We have a LID of 2/23/06 – however, we received a call from our agency today stating that of the 9 families to receive referrals – only 2 families did. They are missing referrals for 7 families – of course, we are one of them missing. Has anyone heard of them doing partial days or referrals being sent to the wrong agencies? Our agency is going to call CCAA tonight to try to find out what happened. They said they have no clue where the rest of the referrals are for the 23rd. Please pray for us. We are having a hard time with this situation.

Congrats to all who will see those beautiful faces.
And many more happy thoughts to know that the CCAA is matching..

Warfield1999-
Try not to panic. I know, easier said than done. But it happened to me too, and everything was corrected very quickly. My agency worked with the CCAA to locate my file, it had been accidentally misplaced; and they made a referral immediately. Of course, I’m now quite thankful that it happened as my beautiful daughter wasn’t in the first group of referrals being made. Your little one is just making you wait until your file can be in the same place at the same time as hers :) Hang in there. You’ll be okay.

Hello !
Congratulations for all the new babies !
Some fresh news about our daughter Bao, from the Special Needs program… She’s from Qingdao, Shandong Province. We picked her up last sunday in Jinan, then we went back in Qingdao for the notary papers and found the place near Pingdu where she was found as a two month old baby.

Congratulations to all of the new parents, and hoping the 23rd families that did not recieve their referrals will get things straightened out shortly and will be matched with children who are perfect for their families.

Congratulations to all those finally fulfilling their dreams…
Just really wondering what’s going on? People not getting matched and only one NSN blog posted here? Where are all the forum posts on “I got the call!” ???
Still seems like nothing is happening for NSN, if they matched to the 23rd… where are they?

Congratulations and thank you to all those who have shared their wonderful news with us!!! I see that I’m not the only one noticing how few people have shared their news this month. I’m wondering if agencies are still getting around to making calls or maybe we’ve scared the new parents off with all of our griping? I think we can gripe and celebrate at the same time, right? ;o)
December 11th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
Congratualtions everyone. We are WAY excited and leaving for our son in the SN program due to age, healthy little boy….what a blessing. Leaving on 12/16, YEAH!!!!
What a Christmas gift. Please follow us along. Following along with others was a true life saver for me and it helped to keep the hope alive.

I can’t see Journey to Taya, either. Looks like you have to be invited.
The other babies are beautiful, though. Congratulations to all the new families!

We heard from our agency yesterday about our missing referral. It seems that of the 7 families that did not get the referrals – 5 of them had been given the wrong LID – or at least that is what the agency was told. CCAA gave the 2/23/06 date at the beginning, but at least with us has now said it was actually 3/7/06. Which means it took them from 1/27 to 3/7 to translate? I am a bit skeptical. Anyway, everything in God’s timing I suppose. Our agency is going to be reconfirming all of the LIDs. I requested that they reconfirm ours AGAIN to make sure. I would suggest that if you are still waiting on a child, you may want to have your agency reconfirm your LID. Don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

warfield – I’m so sorry – that must be so hard to take. I’m thinking of you.
December 12th, 2008 at 9:43 am
Warfield, our hearts are with you. I can’t imagine how difficult that must have been after waiting so long. Hang in there.

Warfield and others waiting, hoping for a bigger month next time so you can finally see your baby.

Where are all the baby photos this month? This is such a let down! I had wanted to adopt a second one, but got cut out after singles were eliminated and the only way I can get my “baby fix” is checking in each month. Were there less referrals?

Congratulations to all the new parents.
A slow and long month, with what seems to be some delays in agencies in some countries getting the special news to the families. Hang in there, surely phone calls will happen today or tomorrow. Post as soon as you do. XXX

I would love to add our blog to the babies section since we are also just now awaiting our TA. My heart is thinking about everyone on this site always, as so many hearts are breaking as they await their child in their arms!
Much love to all – and Merry Christmas!
