Gongrates to everyone!!!! Hope is so beautiful. I can not wait to recieve our referal. Just a few more months of this roller coaster ride and we will finally see her face. Untill then I can’t wait to see all of the new photo’s. Our LID is 3/27/06, maybe next month!!! I will continue to repeat those words….NEXT MONTH…..NEXT MONTH…….NEXT MONTH.

Congrats to everyone. Our family went directly into the special needs program and did a pre-approval for our little boy. Even though I had his picture from the get go I still remember the feeling of getting pre-approved. My husband is in China right now bringing our five year old home. Ive quietly watched the site and have not commented but this is the first batch Ive seen matched and the emotion is overwhelming me as I sit here in Alaska waiting for my boys to come home :)

How is it that after being home almost a year, my heart races, the hair stands up on my arms and I almost cry every time is see Babies!!! for the first time each month? Congrats…we share the joy with those here today and share the longing for those who wait.

We got our call today. We are in shock! We thought we had a LID of 3/29/06 but found out today our LID was 3/21/06. We are SHOCKED!!!!!! We got the name and birthday but drove to Lexington to get the file. We wanted the whole family here so we have not saw the pictures yet (can you believe it!) Our blog is Waitingonemma.blogspot.com. Please add it to the list. I will update with photos as soon as my family gets to see our daughter!

Congratulations everyone! We are waiting for our call TOMORROW! How in the world am I going to sleep tonight?!!!! My stomach is doing flip flops and my brain is going all sorts of crazy places about what could go wrong —- I so remember these exact same feelings when I gave birth to my sons. Hmmm. . .a 3 year 9 month pregnancy. No wonder this labor seems so much harder!!

We are waiting on our TA, which isn’t coming very quickly, being a Hague family. But we will likely travel in September. Our girly turns 14 in October, so time is ticking away!

It’s a GIRL!!!!! When they called us they said, “We are calling about your match. Is this a good time?” Like my teenagers would say — “Are you KIDDING me?!!!” Of course it’s a good time!! She then said, “You’ve been matched with a girl. . . and she’s 8 months old.” We all high-fived, cried, and yelled “Yeah!”
Sorry – no blog to post but she is a cutie. Only got 1 pic today so we are eager for the others. She is from the Jiangxi province (southern), loves to be held, laughs outloud, smiles readily, is quick to react, active, and is found of listening to music!
Her name is Zhuang Lu Biao and we’ll call her Grace Lu. Lu apparently means “Journey” and what a journey it has been and will be!
We are in total relief, peace, joy, tears, and happiness mode over here. We have 4 sons who are all jumping for joy and saying, “We are SOOOO HAPPY!”

I do not have a blog but I received my proposition yesterday!!! Her name is Jiu Don Fu and she,s from Jiang Xi at the Fuzhou orphenage! And she was born the january 22th!!! She as 6 month today!!! So little!!!! Yesss finally!!!!!!!

Congratulations everybody!!! These children are beautiful….I am so happy for you guys, and everytime I check out these faces monthly I get more excited as we move towards our 4/12/06 LID….congratulations new families!!
and I can’t help but notice that these children seem very young…anybody else notice that???

Hi everyone! We finally got the call today and a few pictures, still awaiting the fed ex package with all the info. I just finished my first attempt at doing a blog, it’s pretty basic, but the pictures are on there. Hard to believe I’m actually posting a blog and not just looking. She was born Jan 10th 2009, so just a little over 6 months. Tons of hair and cute as a button!

We were LID 2/24/06
We were finally matched with our angel on 12/25/08 – that is the date on the matching notice from the CCAA.
We were referred on 12/29/08 – a truly happy new year!
We were forever matched on 3/1/09 – one of the best days of my life.
To all the new families – my deepest and heartfelt congrats; Yes, the wait was so very painful, but once you get your child, so very worth it.
