A few more agencies have let their clients know that something is on the way to them.
At least one agency is expecting a package today, but most seem to be expecting their package either tomorrow or Monday.
I do not see reports of phone calls being made in Europe. If there are, someone please let me know.

Not to get any hopes down, but I think it’s a new waiting child list. I know someone who just got a call for a potential match for a waiting child. Keep your fingers crossed, maybe NSN will be next.

Maybe this is outdated or incorrect information, but it was my understanding that the WC list is electronic.

Hi all
I am new to this. Great news for those who are next on the list. My log in date is 6/22/06 I have a way to go. Just wanted to know if anyone knows I was thinking of changing to the special needs program since it looks like it is moving faster. Can I do that without messing up my paperwork. My agency is not very good communicating.

Why am I checking this site every half hour??? I can’t take the suspense much longer, but RQ’s updates keep me going.
If we get a CCAA update (matching) this week, then we probably get the next update before X-mas. And I hope that our file (4/4/06) is in this december update..
I’m sure of one thing: The 3/29 people will get their match this time. Congratulations to all of you!!! According to the polls it’s going to be a lot of happy people.
firelamb – Thats my understanding as well. To my knowledge the WC-list is published on the CCAA Intranet (only accessible by the agencies).

You can get on the waiting child list and it DOES NOT affect your place in line for the NSN.
Alot of families have been matched with children that have very minor correctible problems and then there are some that are more complex. Just depends on what you are comfortable with. There is a checklist that you can fill out based on what needs you are willing to accept. It doesn’t hurt to open yourself to other options just make sure your immediate family (husband and/or children) are comfortable with the decision.

Okay, stupid question, but if the rumor for “matching” just came out yesterday, why would it be NSN referrals? Wouldn’t it be a heck of a lot better for us if they continued to match for days and days???? :) Keep matching CCAA!!!
Smiling lady – you and I are in the same boat!! 4/4….. I pray they complete March this time around! If so, then I think we’ll definitely see our beautiful babies in December! God willing!!!!

Vikki: more rumors came out this last week. Tuesday there was this rumor that March was done and that referrals had been signed. So the rumor yesterday about matching was a bit conflicting. And last week there was this rumor “preparing to match” so this packages has to be referrals :-).

We’ve had the “matching has begun” rumor before and then had referrals show up the next day. We’ve also had the “matching has begun” rumor and waited two weeks for them to arrive. Usually we see referrals mailed from one to four business days after we see the rumor, though.
As for what is in these packages.. it could be SN TA’s, or something else to do with the SN program. Or, it could be referrals. Or something else entirely. We won’t know until they arrive and the agencies open them.
Please remember that when I report rumors I don’t decide which rumors to report and which to not report. I report the rumors that are circulating and then I try to help give my opinion of how much weight to give each rumor.

Whats staus on NSN TA’s? I know some people got them but I think a number of people may still be waiting, we are with referral date 10/13/09 I don’t see any posts this month on TA? We are being told at this time nothing on the way. Anyone else still waiting?

Some from the most recent batch have received their TA, some have not.
TA timing depends on many things, the two biggest being how long it takes you to get LOA back to the CCAA and then how long it takes for the SWI to confirm to CCAA that the child is still available for adoption. TA’s do not all come at once. Also, TA’s for families that fall under Hague can take a month (or more) longer because there are extra steps involved before the LOA can be returned to the CCAA.

We are so thrilled for everyone!!! I love the time of month when rumors begin to swirl around! We were blessed last month to see our little ones face after 42 months. LID 3/27/06
We are now waiting on our TA. I hope it is one of the packages that is on its way. In the mean time we found a great service called “Red Thread China”. We were able to send a care package to Chloe threw this service. Ann the owner had also contacted the orphanage and ask for an updated growth report and pictures. TODAY one month after receiving our referral we received 21 updated photo’s of Chloe!!!! My heart is over flowing!!! You may want to check into this service, it is very reasonable and Ann is very nice to work with. If you would like to see our photos log onto our web-site. We just need our TA!!!! Fly stork FLY!!!!!

Don’t be too surprised if what is in the mail is NSN TAs as my agency emailed me today to give me tentative dates to travel and to tell me to apply for my travel visa (date of referral 10/16/2009).
