At last! Very stunned right now-when I went on RQ I didn’t expect this update…I’m not quite sure how to react as I haven’t heard from my agency. After so many years of waiting and disappointments from last batch I’m almost afraid that their is some mistake.

I received my phone call at 18h32 tonight.
I’m the new happy mother of Xiao Tian Yong, little girl born on the 17th of may 2009. She’s from Hunan.
We are so happy!!

After hours of waiting for a phone call today, we FINALLY received some information about our new baby girl! Her name is Guang Mei Jia and she is 12 months. We don’t know what province she is from yet, but Friday we should receive the actual referral with more info about her as well as some pictures. We are so excited after waiting 4 years to see her beautiful little face. We feel so blessed right now.

With utter shock and great joy:please add our blog to the Babies! post…at 2PM today, after notifying our friends and family that referrals for December were arriving (our log in date is 4.5.06), I rec’d the most shocking phone call from our agency…A REFERRAL!!! Our journey has been full of ups and downs: we were logged in originally 3.7.06 and then two months later unexpectedly pregnant with #3. Our agency’s policy is that we’d remove our dossier and start over after #3 was 1. As the wait time increased, our agency decided to ask permission to have our dossier re-instated. Miraculously, the CCAA agreed and gave us a new log in date of 4.5.06. For reasons that we may never know, apparently it was actually one of the last March days.
Our little miracle…months before we thought we’d hear…is 9 months old in the Jiangxi province. We are beyond speechless, filled with joy, and can’t wait to meet this little girl.

Our Agency posted that we should receive a call tomorrow! We have Christmas tummy and doubt we’ll get any sleep tonight!!!

What Beautiful Babies!!!!
I’m posting this in the comments instead of posting a new blog post because I want the Babies!!! post to stay on top.
I’ll be home for another 25 minutes or so, and will try to update this post one more time before I leave. I most likely will not be back online until at least 8:00 tonight, but possibly more like midnight (in which case it actually may be tomorrow morning, if I get in at midnight I may just go straight to bed).
Congrats to all who are getting those phone calls and finally seeing a picture! I still get all teary eyed looking through these blogs.

we received our referral today for Yan Mu, a girl, who will be one year 12/28/09. it’s such a HUGE physical relief. we cried and laughed and are stunned.

still waiting- Yes, I am in the same boat. I was preparing myself for it this time but,I am still very disappointed. I love seeing all of the babies posted, but wish I was included . It is so hard to answer questions from family and friends of “when?” now that we don’t have a date to followI was really hoping we would know something before Christmas.

I’ve been too excited to post anything until now. I can’t come down out of the clouds.
We received our call on December 2 at 4:17 pm and for hours I cried and laughed and cried and laughed.
She is 13 months old and in foster care west of Shanghai–Her name is Mei soon to be Allie Mei (pronounced May). We are expected to go in late Feb. or early March because of all the Chinese New Year celebrations in early-mid February.
Does anyone else know about when they will be traveling?
Thanks to everyone for all their words of encouragement and support! It has been worth the wait and I’m so excited now for all the marching pandas who have finally received their referrals.
