Sometimes we see referrals within four or five days of this report, sometimes not. Still, it’s good to see.
I don’t see any mention of cut off dates yet.

WOO HOOOOOOOOOOO! Great news for waiting families for sure. I’m so excited that seems really seem to be moving along with this new CCAA director. Hope this is a trend that continues!

I sucked in my breath when I read this. I can’t believe that this is really finally happening. Though I would have loved to have our referral for Christmas, before this year is over will be just as good.

I wasn’t even hoping fior a Christmas present like this. Most likely it won’t come tomorrow anyway. But, and I mean BUT, could it come before New Year?
That would be a really nice celebration present for our 10 years anniversary.

According to the date on our adoption paperwork from the CCAA, we were matched on Christmas day last year. So, here’s hoping the same happens for some (many) of you this year! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!!

Thought I’d just check in your site tonight and see if there was anything new. I am SHOCKED to see a rumor about matching beginning. Could it be possible???? I don’t want to get our hopes up, but WOW!!!!! It would be so exciting to share our news with our extended families around New Years!!!! Keeping everything crossed!!!!
Oh yeah, just remembered that our agency has closed for the holidays and will not reopen until 1/4/10, so we might not hear anything until the January anyway. :-(

I too was checking for a little bit of news. Our agency sent out info that they did not have any information from CCAA yet. Our agency is one of the larger ones so they will be open between Christmas and New Years day. What a great gift to receive a referral this year! I am so praying this will happen but I can wait (impatiently) for January. Sooooo close LID 04/05/06

Whooohoo! last year I received my referral on Dec 29th. So don’t loose hope! You could very well get a end of year surprise.

We also received our referral call on the 29th of December, 2008. The actual date on the paperwork was Christmas. We left Newark on 2/26 and met our dd on 3/1/09.

We are adopting a SN boy (child #2). We were informed today from our agency they found out our TA is prepared and awaiting signature. Yippee!!!
