Every once in a while I get some rumors that are really more of a discussion item than something we can use for analysis. I’ve got a few of them now.
The first comes from several sources, and when I read all of them and try to make it into one cohesive rumor I get that [...]

I’ve seen a number of people reporting what their agency is telling them over the past few weeks. I’ve been hoping some of them would begin to agree with each other a bit more, but it’s not happening.
Here are some of the things agencies are saying:

They have been asked not to send anymore NSN dossiers, [...]

I have it from two (possibly three) separate sources that the CCAA told them a range that they thought April would be complete. The range in one case was May to July, and in the other case was that it should be complete by June. The possible third gives a range that ends in June [...]

The only thing I see new this morning is a few agencies trying to reassure families that this is just a delay and does not mean the program is ending. Most agencies are still saying they don’t know anything about when referrals may arrive, though. And a few are still letting families know they have [...]

The rumored speed up from the beginning of the year said it should happen this fall. A lot of agencies were saying the same thing – that the CCAA said they would refer more babies in 2009 than they did in 2008, and that the numbers should pick up in the fall.
