A European agency is reporting that the CCAA feels the wait will reach 3 to 4 years, and will begin to come down once they begin referring the May 2007 families.
Nothing we haven’t already heard, but it’s out there so I’m reporting it.

Another agency has issued a letter to their clients that gives a good bit of information. This is another great, heartfelt, letter. Again, in bullet form, here is the informational part of the letter:

As of last month, the CCAA has approximately 30,000 dossiers waiting to be matched.
New dossiers coming in now are significantly less than [...]

From the people who attended some of the meetings, most of them made some mention of the CCAA delegates truly caring about the children and being very interested in talking to them and hearing about them. I will again say that most everyone who has ever met someone who works at the CCAA comes away [...]

1) Rumors are trickling in drip by drip about the next batch. The latest coming in are pointing to mid-November’ish for a cut off. I’m still at an R3 with the “could be a big batch” rumor.
2) It appears Australia will be putting out some sort of official announcement about their visit with the CCAA [...]

European Forums have some discussion going over word that the CCAA told a European agency that the wait won’t exceed 18 months.
There is also news just hitting Europe that I reported from the reports coming out of the JCICS conference, that the CCAA is now allowing any orphanage to send dossiers for paper ready babies. [...]
